Agulina, Borgazzano and Apodiano are real crus of the company inspired by the history of Rimini and the famous Arch of Augustus, the oldest and most solemn Roman arch among those preserved. The Grechetto Gentile, Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, harvested in specific plots and only in the great vintages, are vinified in purity and subsequently aged in oak barrels for 12 months. Further refinement in the bottle follows for at least 6 months.
The “AL MANÌNI” line is proudly dedicated to the great director Federico Fellini from the city of Rimini. The name is inspired by a passage from the film “Amarcord”: le manine (al manini) quoted by one of the Fellini characters (Titta’s grandfather), they are nothing but the “pappi” of the poplars that fly (wander, wander, wander).
